Describe yourself in 3 words.

When thinking about gym culture in Bangladesh, what makes Elevate stand out?
- Having seen the gym culture here, and abroad, and then researching more about health and nutrition in general, as cliché as it sounds, I became more and more aware of how fitness is, and should be part of everyone’s lifestyle. Having been to a range of fitness experiences abroad, I realized that I wanted to create a solution that fits into people’s lifestyles, specifically one that is catered to a Dhaka native’s lifestyle (considering the traffic, work culture, etc.). That’s where the idea of Elevate began. We’ve created an experience where you come and enjoy a few times a week rather than a spot where you drop by for an hour a few times a month. This experience is integrated into your day-to-day life: incorporating not just the gym, but food, beauty, healing, and all-things self-care.

With experience in finance, then in photography, and now in the fitness space, what would your advice be for someone who is trying to navigate through different career paths?
- There is no perfect equation to being successful, or to life in general. Even though I have navigated through different career options, I consider myself to be in the business of lifestyle. Tomorrow, I can be part of the food industry, and I would still consider myself to be in a similar field of work. My advice would be that if you are passionate about something, you don’t necessarily need to follow what others have historically done to achieve something of the same nature. Find your path, and explore yourself, and your true calling throughout the way.

Bust a myth about success.
- There is a common misconception that success can come overnight. I believe that to reach a certain level at anything that you do if you need to spend a 100 hours doing it you will have to and there is no shortcut for that, but you might choose to spend that 100 hours in 10 days or in 3 months but the 100 hours have to be spent and there is no shortcut to it.
